A Comfortable Start & a Relaxed End to the School Day

At Daisychain, we understand that before and after a busy school day, children need a place where they can feel comfortable, relaxed and at home.

Our Breakfast Club and Afterschool service provides school-age children with a familiar environment where they can spend time with friends, enjoy activities, play outdoors and have plenty of choice in how they spend their time.

Breakfast Club

A Calm Start to the Day

Our Breakfast Club runs from 7:30am to 9:00am, providing children with a calm and welcoming start to their morning.

Breakfast is provided, with children able to choose from a selection of cereals, toast and fruit. There is time to eat, chat with friends and enjoy quieter activities before the school day begins.

When it is time for school, we bring children to the local school, helping to make busy mornings a little easier for families and providing a smooth transition from Daisychain to school.

Afterschool

Time to Relax, Play & Be Together

At the end of the school day, we collect children from the local school and bring them back to Daisychain.

When they arrive, children are offered afternoon tea or a snack and have time to settle in and unwind after their school day.

We believe Afterschool should feel different from school. Children can spend time with friends, enjoy arts and crafts, games, construction, creative activities and outdoor play, or simply find a comfortable space to relax and chat.

Our activities and resources reflect the children's ages, interests and ideas. Children are encouraged to have a say in what they would like to do, helping to make Afterschool a space that genuinely belongs to them.

School Holidays & Summer Care

Our care can continue when school is closed. Afterschool children can also attend Daisychain during school holidays, including the summer holidays, providing families with continuity of care outside normal school term times.

Holiday places are subject to availability and must be booked in advance on a first come, first served basis.

Above all, we want Afterschool to feel like their time — somewhere they can relax, laugh, create, play, spend time with friends and simply enjoy being themselves.
