A warm nurturing place to learn, play and grow
Welcome to Daisychain Montessori & Crèche in Drogheda, where children are encouraged to explore, discover, create and develop at their own pace.
We provide a caring, welcoming and stimulating environment where children can feel safe, secure and confident, while developing their independence, friendships and love of learning.
Every child is unique, and we believe their individual interests, abilities and experiences should be at the heart of their early years journey.
A Place Where Every Child Belongs
At Daisychain, we want children to feel that this is their place — somewhere they are known, valued and listened to.
Our experienced Early Years Educators create environments that encourage children to make choices, follow their interests, develop independence and learn through meaningful everyday experiences.
We bring together Montessori principles, Aistear and play-based learning, giving children opportunities to explore practical life, creativity, language, sensory experiences, construction, imaginative play, nature, movement and much more.
Relationships are at the centre of everything we do. We work closely with families because the people who know each child best are an important part of their learning journey.
Daisychain provides care and education for children at different stages of their early years and school-age journey.
Baby & Toddler Care
A nurturing and responsive environment designed around the individual routines, relationships and developmental needs of our youngest children.
Our preschool environment combines Montessori, Aistear and child-led learning, supporting independence, curiosity, confidence and preparation for the next stage of each child's journey.
A relaxed environment where children can unwind after school, spend time with friends, enjoy outdoor play and choose activities that reflect their interests.
A calm and welcoming start to the day before children head to school.
Learning Through Real Experiences
Children learn best when learning is meaningful to them.
Our educators observe children's interests and look for opportunities to extend those interests into new experiences, conversations and discoveries.
A child's fascination with building might develop into exploring structures, measurement and the local community. An interest in animals might lead to books, artwork, small-world play, nature and conversations about caring for living things.
Our environment evolves alongside the children, providing opportunities for creativity, problem-solving, language, early mathematical thinking, practical life, sensory exploration, imaginative play, music, movement and outdoor learning.
Our indoor and outdoor environments are designed to encourage choice, independence, exploration and play.
Children have access to carefully selected materials and experiences, with spaces for books and quiet moments alongside opportunities for creativity, construction, imaginative play and hands-on learning.
And learning doesn't stop at the classroom door. Our outdoor spaces give children opportunities to move, investigate, build, create, experiment and experience the natural world throughout the seasons.
Working Together With Families
Families are an important part of life at Daisychain.
We value open communication and encourage families to share their children's interests, experiences, cultures, languages and important events with us.
By working together, we can create an environment where every child develops a strong sense of identity, belonging and confidence.
Choosing an early years setting for your child is an important decision.
Whether you're looking for a childcare place, planning ahead for ECCE, interested in our school-age services or would simply like to know more about Daisychain, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
